About Us:
Founded in 2009, Accretive Exit Capital Advisors (AECA) is a Private Equity Advisory & Intermediary business
that focuses on the secondary and structured financing of Private Equity portfolios. With $1.4b under advisory
AECA has grown rapidly to become one of the more prominent players in this nascent market. We have established
ourselves by leveraging our relationships with Secondary Funds, Pensions Funds, and large institutional investors.
We leverage these relationships and our secondary structured deal experience to find best match and structured
transaction for PE investors who are distressed or need to adjust their exposure. We find best buyers for specific
LP interests, find funding partners for those who are unable to meet capital calls, and liquidate entire portfolios
to multiple buyers (and beat average secondary pricing in the market by 17% currently).
Our Approach:
The keys to working towards a successful transaction with AECA are: 1. Establishing a strong aligned interest
with the client; 2. Identifying assets that need to be funded, liquidated, re-structured; 3. Designing a
structure and/or price expectation level that is achievable in the market and meets expectations of the client
and their stakeholders or partners.
AECA Engagement Parameters:
Accretive Exit Capital Advisors adheres to the following set of
parameters in order to engage with clients:
- Portfolio Assets of $75,000,000
(USD) or greater
- Limited Partnership interests in well-known solid performing funds
- Co-investments alongside high quality sponsors
- A realistic expectation of pricing and value of the assets
- Sophisticated clients who understand incoming investors expectations

A realistic expectation of pricing and value of the assets Sophisticated clients who understand incoming investors'
expectations Accretive aims to serve each client's specific needs. We have engaged in the full
liquidation of portfolios in excess of $500,000,000 (USD). Engineered structured transactions of portfolios of
clients who needed full funding of over $170,000,000 of unfunded commitments in a large portfolio, and brought
parties together to share the funding of capital calls through a complicated structure which included an intricate
waterfall distribution schedule for each participant.
Our fees vary per engagement but typically include a reasonable management fee based on NAV of assets and a
performance-based fee and bonus schedule that keep AECA perfectly aligned with its client.
In most cases the higher the value we achieve for the client the higher our fee. If we don't achieve a
certain hurdle price for assets we don't achieve fee or bonus. We believe this type of relationship is
best maintained when both parties have perfectly aligned interest in achieving the best possible solution,
price, or distribution schedule for their assets.
